It was only a matter of time before Animoca Brands leveraged its influence and experience to create its own project at the intersection of NFTs and metaverse, titled Mocaverse.

Mocaverse is a project with a strong focus on web3 culture. At its core are 5 Moca tribes that co-exist peacefully, with each tribe being a perspective on the space—from the sober economic theorists to the dreamy idealists.

However, Mocaverse is not limited to just profile pictures (PFPs). Recently, the project introduced the so-called Moca IDs—decentralized identities that grant access to Animoca's expanding partner ecosystem. By using Moca IDs, users will be able to earn points, enhance their reputation, and showcase their achievements to the entire web3 community.

A Marketplace To Fit an Entire Ecosystem

As part of its partnership with Mocaverse, RaribleX has been building more than a marketplace—rather, a place to host something as big as an ecosystem. Its initial version is live already, while the platform will be soon expanded into the Moca marketplace.

The concept is straightforward: users place collection bids on the Mocaverse marketplace to earn a total of 45,000 $RARI rewards. This program has quickly transformed the marketplace into the most liquid platform for Mocas, attracting the highest bids in the market.

The rewards program was eventually expanded to support $APE bids in addition to wETH ones, bringing three communities—those of Mocaverse, Apecoin and Rarible—in a single place.
